Description

School project that consisted in a small science fair, where another mate and I presented a mathematics stand that consisted in the approximation of irrational constants from an experimental and probabilistic point of view. In it, younger students were given the chance to conduct little experiments that contributed to the aproximation of the constants.

The experiments consisted in using the Buffon and Montecarlo methods to approximate Pi, as well as by approximating the Ápery constant through a (large) number of random selections of three natural numbers.

There are some scripts created in matlab language such that represents a randomized virtual situation that could be obtained after a number N of iterations.

There is also a script in C++ that aims to keep track of different real experiments.
